Featured ideas

By submitting an idea for analysis, you grant tamfinder permission to display that idea text on the site, for example in the recent verdicts feed, samples, or other marketing. Featuring is anonymous: we do not show your name, email, or other identity alongside the idea. Public report permalinks at /report/[slug] include the idea text by design.

What we collect

• Idea text and geography: used to generate your report and may be featured anonymously as above.
• Email: only if you verify to buy credit packs or keep generating reports after the free allowance, or join the capacity waitlist. Used for account identity, credit balance, purchase receipts, and a one-time capacity ping — not attached to featured ideas.
• Payments: checkout is handled by Dodo Payments (merchant of record). We store purchase records and credit balances in Redis keyed to a stable id derived from your email. We do not store full card numbers.
• Browser fingerprint: a hash of IP and user-agent for rate limiting free usage. Not shown publicly.
• Hashed IP: a separate hash of your IP address used for network rate limits and abuse review (for example, spotting bursts or many emails from one network). We do not store raw IPs. Hashes are not shown publicly.
• Bot check: when you verify an email, Cloudflare Turnstile may run a short check to limit automated signup abuse.
• Analytics: aggregate page views via Vercel Analytics.

How we use it

We use this data to run market reports, enforce fair usage and credit entitlements, process purchases, notify you when capacity returns, improve the product, and (for idea text only) feature anonymous examples on the site. We do not sell your personal information.
